As a practicing family attorney, I have litigated many cases in which ultimately a judge of the Superior Court rendered a decision. A major lesson that I have learned over the years is that decisions rendered by judges after contested trials rarely make anyone happy. Any potential benefit is usually vastly outweighed by the enormous cost, expense and bad feelings that result.
I view it as the most important part of my job to help my clients to minimize the financial and emotional expenses of a divorce – for both the clients and their children.
